St. John's Reformed Church

OUR HISTORY
The Maxatawny Reformed Congregation dates back to 1734. Our church is mentioned in a letter from the
Rev. John Phillip Boehm to the Synod in 1740.
St. John's has housed a Reformed and Lutheran Congregation, as well as a UCC Congregation. The 3rd building, our current church, was oringinally constructed in 1876.
Additions to the church were add in 1962.
St. John's is known throughout this Community & to the students of Kutztown University for being a welcoming, open and affirming church.
